Read it several years ago, found it satisfying in its even-handedness of the subject matter. Hezbollah is not the demon Americans make it out to be, but it is not a perfect organization either, more a pragmatic group than anything else - would they take American support under the right circumstances? Probably.
The book is a little dry, perhaps too dry, and it doesn’t reach a final conclusion. But it’s interesting to read, and is a good reminder that these “terrorist” organizations are more complicated than we realize, and to even use the word “terrorist” is, at times, more political statement than actual description of the organization.
